Right I only have £4000 to spend

I know where there is a good saff for sale a friend of mine is seling with a rebuilt engine etc etc for just shy of £4000

But im also temped with an Evo 3 also around the same price (a friend imports them so I should get it for £3500

What would you do remembering that its winter and I want to use it on a regular basis although not every day

oh I have 2 kids so I need a 4 door car...

or can anyone suggest anything else I should be concidering?
