Morning folks

Just got a quick question regarding Carbon Fibre if anyone is "in the know" about it please...

R34 GTR bonnet, made of carbon fibre, and the vent in it seems to be "peeling"

I think its just the lacquer, but not in the know about this, was wondering, can you rub this stuff down and re-lacquer it ? Dont want to get someone to do it if its gonna fook it up even worse.....so does anyone use carbon fibre at all and have any ideas / suggestions ? Will post a pic up later if i can.

The vent doesnt detach from the bonnet which is a bummer too....or it would be easier just to buy another vent.
