Disagree with both those statements.
My old RST made 220bhp all day long on its std T3 turbo.
Used to peak 20ish psi and then hold 18psi, and did that for 3 years on its std 90k miles turbo
and AFAIK its still making the same power today with 107k miles on clock and still on orginal std T3 turbo
