No they don't. The ACPO guidance is 10 % + 2 mph, whether it be mobile camera, fixed camera, vascar, radar, laser etc etc.

I know the Police get some stick over mobile speed cameras, and I'm not defending the camera safety partnerships but I never hear anyone complaining to the Health Authority,the CPS, their local council, Highways Agency etc about the use of the cameras. These are the bodies that make up the partnership and have an equal standing with the Police when decisions are made about operating the mobile cameras.

As for chips comments of " Ok so its still "breaking the law" but is it REALLY more important than stopping rapes/murders/burglaries?"

Obviously someone who dosen't know what he's talking about
