interest rates? ERM HELLO are you on acid. The went up to about 15% iirc under tory leadership...many many families suffered and couldnt pay the
mortgages...oh and then to add more hurt they took away thier livelihoods by closing pits and steel works etc
House prices? They were underpriced to start with and have done a major catch up. Young people moaning they cant afford them...its cause they havent saved up for a good deposit...they have 'lived for today' as they say and pissed thier money up the wall
