anything to do with performance upgrades like exhaust,filter,chips etc will put the premium up

no use trying to say ive fitted a k&n to improve my mpg insures are not going to buy it mate, its like saying i want to insure a sapphire cosworth is it cheaper because its a family saloon

and some insurance companys see brakes as a safety feature but also a performance feature, due to some people thinking well i have better brakes so i can goa bit faster because i can stop quicker

any modification to a car from std will increase your premium

so jst bite the bullet and tell them the mods and except the end the rsult and to be honest it proberbly wouldnt cost much extra to what your paying on a std one, but you dont dont declare the mods then your insurance can be void
