Default Usual Modification questions - sorry guys (cossies)

Hi guys,
Well the car is sat outside & Im chuffed as buggery.
Had a decent drive & ok anything is going to seem slow compared to the GTST drag car but it does seem slower than the GTST when it was std.

+ points is the handling - bloody hell it would run rings around a GTST on the track on the handling stakes

The cossie is 100% bog std now & just a few pointers would be great:

Stage 1 - is that the usual air filter, better exhaust etc? - what kind of gains typically do you get?

Stage 2 - fmic, larger fuel pump, larger throttle body, oil cooler, bigger injectors ? - gains?

Stage 3 - bigger turbo, manifold, plenum, ecu mods?,

What are the std internals (pistons, crank, rods etc) typically good for maximum before they pop?
What is recommended max boost on the std turbo etc?

Sorry for all the questions but hust keen to know what everyone has found to be the benchmarks, typical costs & gains ?

Ideally long term would like to get it to say 400 - 450 bhp at the wheels & make it a great track car that will eat Skylines for breakfast

cheers
John
