Vibe 101 (currently broadcasting as Vibe FM) will be relaunched as Kiss 101 on 6th September 2006 as Emap integrates the stations.
Vibe 105-108 FM will also be rebranded as Kiss on the same date, and these changes will be implemented simultaneously with a major relaunch of Kiss 100, in which all three stations will receive the new Kiss logo and the revised Kiss format.
Emap recently gained clearance from the UK communications regulator Ofcom to network programming between Vibe 101, Vibe 105-108 and Kiss 100.
Emap have also pledged to significantly increase the amount of specialist programming on the two Vibe stations, with the minumum weekly amount of specialist output stated on the Vibe licences more than doubling from 16 to 36 hours.
