Default Wheel alignment

When having your wheels aligned does this have any effect on the steering being central when the car is driven in a straight line.

Had 2 new front tyres fitted to the FRS today and they checked the alignment and found it was out 2 degrees on the near side so i agreed to have it realigned. Drive out the garage and the steering wheel isnt straight when the car is driving straight. I took it back to them to recheck it and they locked the steering wheel in dead straight and then rechecked the alignment and found it was incorrect by 1 degree so they corrected it and off i go again, except the steering wheel still isnt straight when driving the car in a straight line.

Now am i being too fussy, the steering wheel is about 4-5 degrees off centre towards the right Or have the garage done something wrong

cheers for info on it
