My god the list is endless:

Rust
- first off the floor front corners and rear corners, and where the seats bolt
- Under the bonnet, around the tops of the strut some of the early fiesta's never had sealent on them, under the scuttle, on the bulk head where the bottom of the screen is.
- Fuel cap area, outside then go in and check around both sides to see tell tale signs of corrosion as the rot inside out, and again strut tops.
- dents in the bonnet caused by worn gearbox mounts

Chassis
- Bottom arms is the place to start, anti roll bar bushes and check the steering for a worn steering coloumn nuckle bush
- Check struts if the car has been lowered
- Check the brake discs for lip worn pads, give the brakes a good test as these are the same as xr2i (shit)

Engine
- make sure the car is started from cold so it doesn't descise any knocking etc.. test temp on rocker box to see if its been driven, head gasket failure could be expensive ask when the last one was fitted also cam belt.
- As you know the cvh has oil starvation problems to the last lobe so listen out for excessive noise hold the revs on around 2.5-3k from the engine to hear for nasty noises
- Check the mounts as the gearbox ones are shit if the car has any sort of power increase.

Theres a few things to be going on with
