Bid your maximum, right at the end. If it goes over your maximum, who cares. You wouldn't have paid that anyway!
So what's the point in sniper? You bid what you bid regardless, if 20 people use snipe the highest bidder still wins, what difference does it make whether it's at the start or end, if you bid what you are prepared to go to it makes no difference
Because it stops the bloke who you've just outbid from putting in another bid!
But if he put his maximum bid into ebay in the first place it doesnt, the last bid ALWAYS goes to the person bidding with ebay autobid and NOT to the sniper.
Yes, but if he's bid £20 and you bid £25 two days before the end he's got two days to increase his bid.
7 seconds before the end pretty much removes that opportunity!
