The ISCV's are common to getting mucky and sticking.

It may not necessarily be a pipe, could be a leaky inlet gasket or something.

Either way i'll put money its a simple fault, its just tracking it. If you think it may be the hole put some tape over it and try again to see what it runs like, i bet theres not much difference
