Well when I unplugged the amal valve completely and put in a bleed valve instead, I didn't get as much boost as I wanted. Seems like the bleed valve wasn't able to bleed enough air. Now I've connected amal and bleed valve in a row and everything is working fine.

I'm just curious if there's anything I could do to make better use of the amal valve, e.g. use it as a stepless electrical controlled bleed valve.
