You need to be using Methanol... At a minimum amount to lubricate the pump shaft
Didnt think it was an issue at alll on Aquamist pumps, could use straight water if want?
A lot of kits are sold with race spec pumps - and on these you do need to put a dash of methanol in to lubricate the pump shaft.
