AKA, I was only going by what I've read (see the edited post above)...........But if Pete RS Specialist says that manifolds are not sleeved, then I am inclined to believe him.
down pipe was sleeved,not manifold,

someones going to say the head was different as well arent they.

Going back to the start, essentially they are the same animal, parts from an RS500 engine can be replaced with the equivalent 2wd component and vice versa.
