Hi Adam,

The top mounts will be fine, its the tranferal of road noise when using anything solidly mounted to the shell/chassis that people take a dislike to, you will hear and feel more through the steering wheel and through the car iteself, good in a competetion car, not so good on a full time road car. The shell will suffer a little more stress and you might think about some additional torsion/strengthening to compliment the top mounts, but overall for any track cars i'd say they were beneficial.
