This seems to be the cheapest shop to buy it from £1150ish with the ipod adaptor. Are there any other options I should be considering? (preferably cheaper ones!!

This Kenwood Unit is about the best for the price. The Navigation software it uses is the best on the market. Navteq
also no software disc to get scratched or damaged as its all done on a hard drive
Alpine do make some very nice Navigation systems but they can be a bit expensive.
As for the Pioneer avic x1 bt the navigation softwares not as good.
