are you SURE you are on about a hydraulic power steering system with an electric pump, like a saxo and NOT a car with electric power steering like a corsa which is TOTALLY FUCKING DIFFERENT!
Name a few of the cars you are referring to, or better still point at the reviews and then we can see which system they run, i would put money on it being the electric power steering though!
