I know someone for example with a calibra on a saxo electric pump, it drives EXACTLY the same as on a mechanical pump.

Why on earth wouldnt it?
Its the same mechanism still, the same rack still, the same fluid still, the internals of the pump are also essentially the same its just the pump is turned by electric motor not a pulley driven off a belt!
