I think Soy is more remembered than many other top RST's due to the fact this was the car that did all the shows from 4/5 years back & was running at all the drag race venues. It has been in a few mags as well in various guises (I forgot about the exhausts through the rear panel) and this is what people remember more than what times it put down. I think the last time it was featured (Perf Ford iirc) they had it down as being a legend car.
Similar story with Lewis's B19 TRB. It looks non-standard externally (big intercooler with cut-out bumpers. Bad-boy bonnet), people know what engine mods and new parts (engine-wise at the time: Zetec conversion) are fitted & that's what people remember.
That's not to take anyting away from the new breed of RST's pushing boundaries & achieving targets

just merely to understand why people remember Soy & B19.
