Does your crank pully run your alternator too ? If it does just use that to tension it up.

I went from a 6 rib belt to a 3 to run the alternator when I removed my air-con from my Pulsar and it doesn't slip.
I know an alternator is easier to spin then a supercharger but it might work if you can wrap enough of the belt around the s/c pully.
