hi,
this is my first post,so please bear with me as i'm pc illiterate.
i'm interested in a series one rs turbo, needs to be a minter as i intend it to be my daily driver. i have a vx220 n/a at the moment, but need to free up some cash. the series one appeals as it was my dream car from when i was a lad!

anyway, a couple of questions...

what to look for?
i know about the rear seams under the bumper, dashboard cracks, a pillar trims rippling/cracking, seats and someone mentioned to me about the front valence BEHIND the bodykit. also, i'm ok with the usual car-buying stuff, log-book etc.
is there anything special i should be looking for? condition-wise, and to check originality?

anyone been to see the one at "AFFORDABLE CLASSICS" in Essex?
it's up for £5k, so i was hoping this would fit my needs. unfortunately, they were away when we went to look, and i haven't had another chance to have a look.

i know i might be better off with something more modern for the same cash, but as i said, it's the car i always wanted, it just seemed to pass me by on the way up the car buying ladder. i know there's not a huge number of them around, so it seems like a good opportunity to kill 2 birds with one stone.
