Hi guys, i've given it a rest for a bit as my engine needs replacing. The car is off the road @ the moment so I got a chance to have a better look at the breaks.

I'm going to try and explain what the problem is - and possibly someone will know what it is.

The caliper mounts seem to be thicker than the original si ones, when you press the disc back as far as you can, it mounts at a slight angle and doesn't sit fully into the hub as the caliper isn't letting it go back further.

If you test fit the disc without the caliper, it sits fine however you dont have enough thread on the wheel studs to securly fit the wheel.

You can also fit the caliper without the disc and it is the right mounts.

I had an idea - but it may be stupid, longer wheel studs, wheel spacers (on the inside of disc) to pull the disc out from the hub so it doesn't lock against the caliper?
