Clifford alarms are prone for locking problem's ive had 2 clifford alarms in the past (not in the same car) and both of them have had locking problems the last one i had used to make the central locking go nuts so i ripped the fucker out and got a toad and never had any problems with it ever since then ive got/had toad alarm's in all my cars and never had one problem.
