No it's not acceptable, but neither is rudeness, sarcasm or snidey threats about being banned from a Mod! Do you really think that that users should ignore?
its in the rules people ... it's only really started to be enforced harder as we want people to join the site .. not do a couple of posts .. get all the normal crap posted to em and then think fook that lot .. bunch of twats ..

Lynne, the tossers are the bandwagon jumpers...I.E Those with about 500 posts and registered about 3 months
I know some people have strong views on how he mods the site being trigger happy etc....but it gets too personal imo....how Andy mods and how Andy is as a person are two different things imo....
Anyway, never met Andy but he seems sound te me, and as a regular user of the BB thought id air my views on the subject...and those of you who have been around a while now know thats what i do
