If you download Netlimiter 2, you can monitor your own usage no big deal.

I used to have ADSl with Nildram, they had a 50GB fair usage policy, but it only applied during their peak hours (which were during the day). Nights and weekends were off peak and not subjected to monitoring. I did all my downloading at weekends. Never even got close to half of my usage limit.

They do 8MB now.

I switched to NTL cable. 10MB for £17.50 a month unlimited.
