s2's didnt have rear disk's and s2's used the same drums as an escort van which are much bigger than s1/mk3 drums and the rear wheel cylinders were bigger too. if the wheel cylinder's have gone you will find brake fluid leaking into the drums and even dripping onto the floor.
I actualy meant to write drums!
