It's not the speed limits or the roads its the people behind the wheels of the car.

If people arent comfortable driving at speeds down country lanes they wont. It's the stupid cunts who think theyre colin mcrae and speed down back lanes flying round blind bends etc that are dangerous. These people shouldnt have licenses in the first place.
No niether should by the sounds of it
Because I know how to drive I shouldnt have a license?
NO, and if you think it's acceptable to drive like that it don't sound like you'll have one for long anyway
I think it's perfectly acceptable to drive to what I see. And to drive at a speed limit that the conditions allow. I've had my license for 8 years and never had an accident or points (touch wood) and I was taught to drive on country roads and had a very good teacher so I don't think you know what you're talking about
Ok mate, i don't know what i'm talking about, rules of the road must have changed since i took my test

I just hope your luck holds out, and some poor innocent 3rd party doesn't have to pay for your gun hoo attitude
Seriously, you have no idea as to how good or bad a driver I am. I'm not sitting here insulting your driving now am I? As chip says. I drive to what the conditions allow me to. If I can't see what's around the next corner then i'll go round it really slowly, however if its nice and flat and open then I'll go round the corner as fast as the road conditions and car i'm in will let me.

I don't have a "gung ho" attitude to driving as you like to put it. I stick to ALL speedlimits. The only time i EVER really exceed the speedlimit is on country roads when it's safe to do so. I drive extremely calmly and everything is calculated and thought about. If my heart rate starts rising then it means i'm driving faster than i'm comfortable and i'll slow down. I DONT think i'm nigel mansell and I wouldnt even call myself a good driver. Colin Mcrae, jason plato etc are good drivers. However I know what my limits are and I stick well within them.

If you cant understand how to drive on country roads then I think you're one of the people who needs lower speed limits.

Batfink, i'm always a cunt
