as much or as little as you want really. I had the head (which is for sale) & low comp bottom end & running a cossie 4 x 4 turbo with .48 rear housing & the chip & was running 205 bhp with 250 lb/ft of torque
With a new cam & getting the head ported & polished with the chip you should see reasonable gains from it.
Price would be looking for around £80 - £100
