yer take the sump off (but drain oil first
) then you will see the con rods where they bolt to the crank, take the caps of the rods, held on with 2 bolts, and you will see the bearing shell inside.
they should be a white colour and no scoring on them. mine where goldy brown colour when i took mine out, so they where totaly fooked.
