Right,took the EMPA (the one with 2 wires,not 3)made no difference.Also took off the union at the filter and cranked it over,petrol chugging out all over the place.Am convinced it is the metering unit at fault,not distributing the fuel correctly.Goes into the metering unit but doesn,t come out and go to the injectors.

What do you think?could it be the fuel pump???
