Depends what YOU want to do in life.
I left school after nearly a year of AS Levels when i got glandular fever, ended up doing all kinds of work to pay the bills at first but settled down doing mortgage work.
After a few months though i knew my heart wasn't in it and that i wanted to work in motorsport so started saving some money and about a year later managed to find out about the National College for Motorsport, went down, had an interview and assessment - got accepted.
Did 1 year there and applied for apprenticeships with F1 and WRC teams, ended up starting an apprenticeship with Honda Racing F1 Team last September.
Not bad to say i've only got 9 GCSEs under my belt
Follow your heart mate, a few years invested at this point will pay off massively later in life
