Best thing he can do is stand his ground, get a caribina just large enough to fit over his knuckles and use that as a duster, hit a couple of them with that and they should leave him alone.. Or get a load of his mates together and get them to walk with him. when they see the lads give them a hiding.
Agreed. They will just be back with more anger and intent along with more people possibly.
What kind of people are up at that hour to jump someone though, are they coming in from a night out. Anyone I have ever heard of being jumped has always been evenings. Maybe these lads all work together and are the way also in which case have them followed.
