Jesse is right in what he says. But in practice, lowering comp isnt so bad. Mine is well below 7.5:1. It's very driveable - i use it every day, and it starts v quickly in all conditions.

But, if u want 200hp, then do not lower the compression. No point at all. ive seen 230 on std comp with reliability many times.
