it's as easy as:

car in the air
wheel off
pop the lower ball joint
remove gaitor
split joint/driveshaft (1 circlip)
remove old grease
fit new grease
fit new boot
pop back together
bottom ball joint back in
wheel on
lower car to the ground

20 minutes with air tools if you are in a hurry
