Dave Cos4x4 is spot on I reckon - I had a similar problem on mine- Drivers side CV joint / tri bearing fell apart, fixed that, then found the engine mount on the driver's side was also buggered.

Now got Collins ones on the car, from Matt Lewis (Cheers fella )

£50 gets you the new tri bearing from Woodford Garage if you need it....
