daz what do you think the tests do lol you dont know who is a fast server and more importantly you dont know the traffic of that server when youre downloading so theres a lot of guesswork. still guesswork but better imo....... find a HEAVILY seeded torrent and look what that comes down at, this way theres more chance your running at full incoming and more chance that the server end host isnt being capped as theres concurrently thousands of them.
azureus maxes at about 250 on mine which is same as these tests usually give, and theoretically about the max poss on a 2mb adsl line = 256
