It's all speculation really.

It wouldn't suprise me if they did depart from the original designs. There must be loads of commercial tie-ins going on between the film makers and the car/truck manufacturers. At the end of the day if Peterbuilt want to supply them with 10 free long nose trucks it's not like they're going to say no.
