Default EFI Conversion and Sierra Pulley problem

Help!!

I'm converting my Mk3 Escort 1.6i to EFi and have got stuck. I'm using a 1.8 Sierra pulley for the CPS which I've had machined and I can't seem to get it to fit. I've released the drivers side engine mount and dropped the engine right down on that side. But once it's dropped the engine has tilted and is too close to the chassis rail to be able to fit the pulley on.

Do you have to release all of the engine mounts and drop the engine that way? I'd rather not do that unless it's absolutely necessary. I'm wondering if I'm having the problem because it's a Mk3 rather than a Mk4 - perhaps I have less clearance.

Does anyone know the answer?
Cheers
Mark
