Dont think there is much choice tho but to use chlorine in small quanties(nothing like that found in a normal swimming pool) otherwise the water will become cloudy and the clorine acts as a disinfectant

my pool is crystal clear but I dose it every other day

try stack em high on ebay they do a kit for £25 plus post with tester strips which allow you to keep an eye on chlorine levels, and PH etc, I have a 4 month old and touch wood have had no problems yet

and remember this phrase to tell your kids and visitors
