Actually this car was bought from the UK and shipped to Cyprus with a 500bhp YB cossie engine. Then it mutated...

Don't worry YB fans (including me). There is another one monstrous Escort Cossie in Cyprus with a YB engine with over 1050 bhp... info soon....




Also this weekend there is a drag race event in Greece and for the first time since its build, another Escort Cosworth will compete and we ll be able to have photos and video of it... The specs of this particular Escos are T88 hybrid Turbonetics (can operate up to 4 bar boost and 118lbs flow), Haltech management, sequential gearbox etc...

The last known dyno was at 2.8ct boost pressure and it produced 780 at the wheels and 79 kg of torgue. The car is tuned to operate up to 3.5 bar of boost!!!!!!!

Also our famous white Shap faced 3dr 4wd Sierra Cossie with a new engine now (709 at the wheels at 1.9 bar boost on a Mustang dyno (it shows much lower than a dynojet) and it can operate up to 3.5 bar) destroyed its Quafie transmission in testing so we ll have to wait for the next race...
