Tell you something else to check, i had a problem years ago where the car wouldnt cool down, infact, when i put the fans on the temperature went up.

Anyway, long story short, some COCK SUCKER (no not me) had wired the fan the wrong way, so instead of pushing cold air through, it sucked hot air back out throught the radiator
