Think about it ...... how many parts are there that actually move?

the bearing - the cv joint - the other thing i can think of is the dust shield on the hub assembly is bent & is rubbing - you also say clicking sound - do u have abs? could be something is rubbing against the teeth on the shaft - i'd personnelly get it all apart & check.

It's not alot of work.
