Sounds like a difficult one, think I spoke to you at the RS1600i thrash at Jamsport last year, did you have the grey RSi?

I'm in a similar situation in terms of lack of money/debt to sort the car(s) out. I've still got the RS1600i from the Jamsport shoot out; haven't driven that since then. And the S2, haven't driven that either since the begining of year

I moved out of home Oct last year and it has been a total drain on my finances since then. I've been driving my little brothers old Pug 205 1 litre since then My plan is to sell the S2 which is gonna be difficult as it is a lot more rusty than I thought underneigth and store the RSi until I have the money in the future to restore it. As embarrising as it is i.e. driving an old pug with four gears and a 1 litre engine, not driving either of the RS's has saved me a small fortune, in terms of insurance, fuel and spares etc. I'm not interested either getting in huge debts with mega percent apr, not until I have a decent wage anyway...

Hopefully the long term answer for me is a new job that I have got which will hopefully sort the money out. If I was in your situation i would consider selling the Cossie, buying something like a RS1800 last of the line Fiesta, which will be quick ish, reliable, fuel efficient and rot free hopefully (bloody Ford why couldn't Volkwagon put a turbo engine in the MK1 Golf Gti as they don't rot ) or if you really want to keep your one. Rent a garage somewhere (think mine is £7 a week!) and buy something cheap and disposable for work. i'm thinking of getting something TDi and modern for work like a 306 Pug, cheap and chearful!

Hope it all sorts it self out though.
