I spent a lot (of borrowed money) on my XR4x4 when I was 21 for one simple reason.
I was an idiot.
Like a lot of people at that age I
a: suffered far too much status anxiety
b: had a terrible attitude towards money
Back then I could have justified it all day long too. I'd be the same now if it wasn't for my redundancy.
