a small up date.
haven't bothered with pics as there's not much to see really.
all 4 arches rolled
drivers side is finished with all little high's and lows taken out and smoothed
had a slight problem with the roof around the arial

due to some point in the cars life the arial had been given a tuck and stretched the skin

resulting in the strength been taken out of it and the panel would dip and pop out with pressure applied to it! this would actually happen when I was washing the car :headbang:
This ended up being quite frustrating to sort, but after some time and a fair bit of knoking with a dolly from under the headlining he managed to get the strength back, and then smoothing the whole area out
the only remaining parts for repair are the o/s sill still to do, like for like as the drivers side and then a small area on the scuttle. So next week it should be getting these done, then all the glass out, rubbed down and primered
the car will then be getting trailered about 20 miles to another bodyshop to be painted

It is still going to be painted by my guy, only he is going to use his mates booth with a full blown oven to do it. (he's hoping to build a whole new booth in a big extension on his place this year)
and in the meantime, I've been buying more goodies

but now that I'm going twin intake, I won't be able to use the altenator cover, might see if I can modify it to fit later
