Know what I'd be doing chaps I can assure you. If the car was being rung then fair enough but the geezers name is on both logbooks, or if he bought the donor shell with no ID the S1 logbook so fuck it, I'd do it.
say your so called donor shell had history behind it,crashed,stolen,even structural damage,your then wiping that history from it and replacing it with history from a completely different car,say that car had 2 owners every mot,hpi clear blah blah blah,your now converting your death trap donor shell into a minty 2 owner fully documented car which would be worth miles more than it would have been.good luck selling your s1 after these comments,id be very wary buyin from you
surely running around in a legit q plate car is better than running around in a ringer
