Well if you have a 6 year old pc then dont worry as that probably produces less heat than a calculator!
Newer higher speced pc's generate alot of heat and need cooling via fans and other means, if the temps too high it can ruin the whole computer basically!
Well my conputers brand new.
But im not fussed about MY computer, just wondering the effects.
Just more heat will do nothing till it breaks?
