Mr S1 No one 's saying dont do it the way he want's to but if he dose then it's not going to be a legit s1 and when he come's to sell it anyone that know's what they are looking at will know that there's something not right with it the only way to do it is get a proper mk3 shell then have all the VIN and the rest of it welded in so no one can tell it's been done or you will have as much trouble trying to sell it as you would if it was put on a Q plate if not more.
