hello people. jus a bit of advice from people who know

my missus bought a 52 plate focus from a garage in warrington about 3 months ago. guy offered a months warranty on it but she opted to take out an RAC opion for 12 months instead.

once she had signed the dotted line he told her to come back a week later as he needed to mot it for her. fair enough. one thing i noticed about it was that her steering wheel wasnt straight when the wheels were, so she took it to her uncles tyre place for him to have a look. he said that both the track rood arms were bent, seemed strange to him being both of them. gonna cost about 150 nickers to put right. would these usually be covered under warranty.
what i was wondering is there anythin we could do regards to the garage, i mean it should have failed its mot surely with them being bent. so if this is correct the way i see it is that it passed an mot when it shouldnt have and he knowingly sold a car that is probably not road worthy. is phone call to tradin standards needed.
